How guides are written
Each guide is compiled by the site author from named official sources such as the NHS, nidirect, HSC Northern Ireland and the General Dental Council. Every guide lists its sources with the date they were opened. Where a figure or rule could not be confirmed from an official source, the guide says so or leaves it out. Northern Ireland rules are taken from Northern Ireland sources, not from England's.
Professional review
Dental information is a health topic, so every guide and treatment page names who reviewed it. They are reviewed by Dr Faiz Azizan, who is also the site author, so this is a self-review and not an independent one. The site does not publish his qualifications or a registration number: always check any dentist on the General Dental Council register and see a registered dentist for advice about your own teeth. A page with no named reviewer is not submitted to search engines for indexing.
What we do not publish
- No prices, success rates or statistics unless an official source states them, and then with attribution.
- No treatment recommendations, diagnoses, doses or medication advice beyond what an official source states.
- No invented reviews, case studies, awards or qualifications.
- No ranking language, superlatives or endorsements about practices or products.
Corrections
If a guide or listing is wrong or out of date, report an error. Corrections are made as soon as they are checked, and the "last updated" date changes.

How are Dentist Belfast guides researched?

What will the guides never contain?
No unsourced prices or statistics, no treatment recommendations, diagnoses or dosing, no invented reviews or case studies, and no ranking language about practices or products.
How are corrections made?
Email hi@dentistbelfast.com or use the report an error page. Each report is checked against the official source or the practice's own website, and the "last updated" date changes when a page is corrected.
